Exploring Žizkov tower and beyond

We met up again for a photo walk on 7 September. Our walk began at the Žižkov TV tower, a striking landmark that dominates the Prague skyline. While we didn’t go to the top, we captured some great shots of the tower and its surroundings.

From the tower, we headed to Jířiho z Poděbrad square. On Saturdays, there’s a market filled with fresh vegetables, fruit, flowers, meat, coffee, sweets and other farm products. This market provided a great opportunity to practice our photography skills, capturing the lively atmosphere and interesting subjects.

After exploring the market, we took a break at a nearby café to enjoy a cup of coffee. It was fascinating to listen to Insan and his friend from India discuss the incredible diversity of ancient languages used in their country.

Our photo walk continued through the charming Vinohrady neighborhood and concluded at Námestí Míru.
